Latte, Mocha, Americano,Cappuccino Sandwich? . . . 10 varieties Tart . . . . Rhubarb or apple Buns . . . . All possible combinations and of course the very famous sweetcake .
Autojumble was attended my many well known jumblers and many Ford spares were on offer. A rare & coveted pillar badge was on offer and promptly purchased by a well known club member at an extremely high price. He said “If you want it you have to pay for it and an early purchase is advised”. Facial expressions of many members told their own story as they left the autojumble area with their purchases complete and a happy smile.
Attendance was very high and was as expected as it was home ground of our esteemed Chairman. He and Mary left no stone unturned in organisation of and preparation for this wonderful day. A hearty welcome was offered to all. New members, on joining, were treated to the same warm welcome that we in the club have come to expect as the norm in such a wonderful club that is a beacon in Irish Classic and Vintage circles .
